Camas was born in 1982 from the inspiration of two brothers Marino and Bruno Maspero, founders of the company. Marino Maspero from an early age entered the world of upholstery and in 1982 he founded Camas; shortly after, the very young Riccardo and Federico join the company as shareholders. Entering this new world will therefore lead them to continuous and innovative bets; the experience and continuous relationships with customers and colleagues in the sector have meant that they became the designers of some of the company’s flagship products. Equipped with great insight and great passion for padding, they distinguished themselves in the furniture scene thanks to an entrepreneurial philosophy aimed at achieving an important purpose: to create upholstered furniture of artisan quality, handed down by the master upholsterers, with the aim of making the produced by combining simple manual work with a craft with a strong artistic sense.
